MARSHALL LEADS ALL QUALIFIERS INTO 1OOMH SEMI-FINALS

All four Jamaicans advanced to the semi-finals of the women's 100mh and men's 110mh

Jamaica’s Tiana Marshall leads all qualifiers into the semi-finals of the 100MH, Marshall hurdled to 13-point-10 seconds to win heat 6 ahead of Barbados Taylor Foster who ran a personal best time of 13-point-43 seconds to advance.

Her countrywoman Akeelah Bell also made progress after finishing 4th in heat 5 with a time of 13-point-46 to advance as a fastest loser.

Marshall will now run out of lane 6 in semi-final 1, while Bell will run from lane 1 in semi-final 3 on Friday night.

On the men’s side, Bahamian Jahcario Wilson ran a personal best time of 13-point 25 leads a Caribbean trio into the semi-finals. Jamaica’s Marquies Page 13-point-34 and Taj-Oniel Gordon 13-point-49 also made progress.

The men’s semi-final is also scheduled for Friday night
