HARRIS, MITCHELL & BURTON TO LEAD JHF 18-MAN CAC SQUAD

The Jamaica Hockey Federation has confirmed its squad for the 2026 staging of the Central America and Caribbean Games (CAC). The squad will be led by Co-Captains Richard Harris, Ajani Burton from St. Andrew Hockey club and Circus Circle's player coach Kemar Mitchell. The squad is completed by; Phillip Dawson (JDF), Christopher Reid (New York Islanders), Kevaun Reid (JDF), Daniel Powell (JDF), Tuseef Graham (Explorers), Rashad McCarthy (Explorers), Gian-Paul Haughton (Sharpes), Rasheed Johnston (Explorers), Dwight O’Hara (JDF). Tyrone Vernon player coach, Nickoy Stephenson, Shaun Aransevia, Farijah Masters, debutants Jachin Mullings and Shevon Miller all representing St Andrew Hockey Club. Jamaica will play out of pool B alongside host Dominican Republic, Cuba and Venezuela, the men’s tournament will run from July 27 to August 4. The opening encounter will be against Cuba on July 27, at 1pm (JA) Their remaining pool B fixtures; July 29 - Jamaica vs Dominican Republic 3pm (JA)/ July 31 – Jamaica vs Venezuela 11am (JA). The management team is led by Dr Carlton Campbell – Head of Delegation, Dr Michelle Holt- Technical Director, Nicole Bradshaw – Head Coach, Dionne Smallhorne – Manager and Demi Nicholson – Video Operator and Aundreen Leslie – Digital Media Men’s Vice President Larklin Christie and women’s Vice President Cristina Edwards will be a part of the travelling delegation.
