FOUR DEBUTANTS HIGHLIGHT JHF WOMEN’S CAC SQUAD

17-year-old international recruit Melanie Saunders is among four debutants named to Jamaica Hockey Federation Central America and Caribbean Games (CAC) squad. She’s accompanied by fellow international recruit Talia Packham, St Andrew Hockey Club’s Chryssann Grant and Andreena Williams from Sharpes hockey club. The other members of the squad include Co-Captains Sauwana Gordon (Tropics HC), Kamille Griffiths-Harris (St Andrew HC) and Imauny Linton (Tropics HC). Chryssann Grant, Kareme Hudson, Lorie-Ann McIntosh, Ajhnique Williams and Jonel Witter from St Andrew Hockey Club. Tropics Hockey Club’s Antonette Baxter (Tropics), Brean Blackwood (Tropics), Shareeka Elliott and Shana-Kay Tullonge. Sharpes Rebels hockey club Jovanna Johnson, Kimanie McLean, and Kareeka Nicholls completed the 18-member. Jamaica will play out of pool B against Cuba, Barbados and Bermuda the women’s tournament will run from July 26 to August 4 with the opening encounter will be against Cuba on July 26, at 9am (JA) Then July 28 - Jamaica vs Bermuda 9am (JA)/ July 30 – Jamaica vs Barbados 1pm (JA) The management team is led by Dr Carlton Campbell – Head of Delegation, Dr Michelle Holt- Technical Director, Nicole Bradshaw – Head Coach, Kameisha Erskine – Manager and Demi Nicholson – Video Operator and Aundreen Leslie – Digital Media Men’s Vice President Larklin Christie and women’s Vice President Cristina Edwards will be a part of the travelling delegation.
